Adrian Johnson brings more than 16 years of experience in recruiting and sales to Carolina’s Home Medical Equipment Inc. His career began in the healthcare industry with an internship at Charlotte Institute of Rehabilitation in therapeutic recreation, then as a recruiter for four years at Maxim Healthcare. He honed his sales and relationship skills during a seven year stint at New Horizons Computer Learning Center where he provided companies and individuals with software training solutions. Eager to return to his passion for healthcare, Adrian researched the durable medical equipment market and it became clear to him that CHMEI was the best place to work in the region. He was drawn to the family-like atmosphere and commitment to good service and persistently pursued a career with the company.
Adrian spent his first year as a patient service technician, working the front lines of service and learning everything he could about durable medical equipment. He then transitioned to a sales role working under the tutelage of company founder Frank Trammell. Adrian is passionate about listening, helping others find solutions, and educating people on the constantly changing world of durable medical equipment and Medicare. He was born in High Point, NC and is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Science in therapeutic recreation. When he’s not at work, he’s coaching his two boys Drew and Chase in any number of sports, and spending time with his wife Jen. He is also involved in community service and volunteer work with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Mecklenburg Community Church.
